Rainer Bonhof has given himself two weeks to hear from the Ghanaian F.A. after going through successful negotiations with the Egyptian F.A on a possible coaching stint in Egypt.

Bonhof, who since his departure from Accra after Ghana’s match against Zimbabwe, is yet to be informed the Ghanaian F.A. whether it would want him to coach Ghana’s Black Stars. Sources close to Joy Online has it that Bonhof had a successful meeting with officials of the Egyptian F.A. which puts the Egyptians ahead of Ghana in terms of the pay structure although the German is reportedly interested in the Ghanaian move considering the talents at hand.

Also the Ghana Football Association has officially written to the Ministry of Youth and Sports informing the ministry about their interest in signing on Rainer Bonhof. It’s not yet known whether the Ministry will approve the F.A.’s proposal since it has started calling for a local coach to handle the Black Stars.
