Accra, July 12, GNA - The Ghana Stock Exchange (GES) All-Share Index, the main stock gauge, went up in trading on Thursday which saw a huge sale of ECOBANK Transnational Incorporated (ETI) shares. ETI sold 1.46 million out of the total of 1.637 million shares that changed hands.
The main index gained 0.53 points at 5,334.34 points from 5,333.81 points on Wednesday.
Change of the Year to date was better at 6.56 per cent from 6.55 per cent on Wednesday.
There were six price changes, all positive.
CAL Bank was up again by GH cedis 0.0001 at 0.3092 GH cedis, Ecobank Ghana was 0.0003 GH cedis at 1.4565 GH cedis, Ecobank Transnational Informorated gained 0.0345 GH cedis at 1.0250 GH cedis, Fan Milk Limited gained 0.0002 GH cedis at 1.9610 GH cedis, Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited inched up by 0.0001 GH cedis at 0.9571 GH cedis and SG-SSB went up by 0.0004 GH cedis at 0.8270 GH cedis. Market capitalization ended the session higher at GH cedis 11,498.90 million GH cedis from 11,497.88 million Ghana cedis.
