Accra, Nov. 26, GNA - The Ghana Stock Exchange's Market Capitalisation crosses the GH=A212 billion mark to close at GH=A2 12,067.78.
The jump was largely due to a 10 per cent increase in the market capitalization of Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI) on the back of 57,500 shares traded on Monday. On the broader market, the GSE All-Shares Index, the main market indicator, rallied 243.13 points to close at 6,126.74 points from 5,883.61.
Change Year to date now stands at 22.39 per cent. Total number of shares that changed hands stands at 558,600 shares.
On the broader market, there were seven positive price changes. Ecobank Ghana Limited went up by GH=A2 0.0260 to close at GH=A21.6800 Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited (GGBL) gained GH=A2 0.0003 at GH=A2 1.2123, Ghana Commercial Bank was up GH=A2 0.0003 to close at GH=A2 0.9705 and GOIL was richer by GH=A2 0.0101 at GH=A2 0.2401 The other gainers were ETI which went up GH=A2 0.1165 at GH=A2 1.2815,
Enterprise Insurance Company gained GH=A2 0.0007 at GH=A2 1.2015; and SG-SSB also went up GH=A2 0.0002 at GH=A2 1.1107. Market capitalisation was up at GH=A2 12,067.78 million.
