Accra, Dec. 6, GNA - The GSE All-Share Index, the main market indicator of the Accra Bourse, bounced back with a 6.7-point gain but traded volumes continued to slump.
The index, which dropped 5.86 points during the previous trading, closed at 6,418.60 points on Thursday from 6,411.80 points on Wednesday. Traded shares further fell from 216,700 shares on Wednesday to 58,700 shares. CAL Bank sold the highest of 43,900 shares. Change year to date now stands at 28.22 per cent. On the broader market seven price changes were recorded, all positive.
HFC Bank recovered with a gain of 0.0399 GH Cedis to close at 0.5398 GH Cedis, CAL Bank made 0.004 GH cedis to close at 0.4210 GH cedis, SG-SSB was 0.0002 GH cedis richer to close at 1.2203 GH cedis. Others were Ecobank Ghana Limited gained 0.0001 GH cedis to close at 1.6826 GH cedis, Ghana Commercial Bank, 0.0001 GH cedis better to close at 0.9713 GH cedis, Guinness Ghana Limited appreciated by 0.0001 GH cedis and Goil Ghana Limited also up by 0.0001 GH cedis at 0.2612 GH cedis.
Market capitalisation rose marginally at 12,246.82 million GH Cedis from 12,242.66 million GH cedis.
