Cape Coast, Mar. 01, GNA- Alhaji Moctar Musah Bamba, the National Organizer of Nasara, the "Zongo" wing of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), on Friday advised the members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to take cover because the NPP is going to take the "Zongos" by storm. Addressing the press at the Central Regional office of the NPP, he said his party would fight for "every inch of political space with a whole new Multi system campaign. "NPP is a Zongo party and our Flag bearer, Nana Akufo Addo is a Zongo boy", he added.
Alhaji Bamba disclosed that a committee of executive members of the NPP is touring all the Zongo communities in the Greater Accra, Central, Western, Volta and Eastern regions of Ghana, with the aim of reorganizing Nasara and also changing the Zongo communities "physically".
Sheik Alhaji Jibril Mohammed, Central Regional Organizer of the NPP, said the committee would help reunite the two factions of Nasara that has been created in Cape Coast area, after which, executive members would be elected for the "united" Cape Coast Nasara.
He appealed to members of the Zongo community in Cape Coast to unite and rally behind the NPP, for it is the only Party with the "Zongo" at heart.
He said Nana Akufo Addo is a creation of Zongo and that he is here to serve the people of Ghana. "He was born and bread in a Zongo", he added.
