Accra, April 4, GNA - The GSE All-Share Index, the benchmark indicator of the Accra bourse continued its impressive gains when it inched up 5.23 points to close trading on Friday. The gain, which was on the back of only two equities; Ecobank Ghana Limited and Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited, pushed the Index up at 8,400.70 points from 8,395.47 points on Thursday. Change for the year to date now stands at 27.29 per cent. Traded volumes slumped again at 93,200 shares from the previous 121,400 shares. On the broader market there were two price changes, all positive. Ecobank Ghana Limited and Guinness Ghana Brewery Limited both gained 0.01 GH Pesewas to close at 2.66 GH cedis and 1.49 GH cedis respectively. Market capitalisation closed the week's session up at 14,305.84 million GH cedis from 14,302.59 million GH cedis.
