One of Ghana's best known music producers, Isaac Abaidoo, popularly known as 'Goodies' is in detention at the Narcotics Control Board.
'Goodies' was arrested on Wednesday evening at the Kotoka International Airport, with some narcotic substances in his luggage.
A source at the Narcotics Control Board has confirmed his arrest and detention. But the source declined to give any further details on the type of narcotic he was carrying and the quantity.
Until recently, Goodies was the producer for songstress Mzbel. The two fell out after Mzbel's rape ordeal at the hands of some armed robbers. He was going through departure formalities to board a plane to London when he was arrested.
His arrest is the latest in a long series of drug scandals to hit the country and the source at the NACOBOD says it is yet another indication that Ghana has trully become a hub for drug trafficking.
NACOB will make an official statement when preliminary investigations are concluded.
