The founder of the New Vision Party (NVP) Prophet Daniel Yaw Nkansah has hinted that since Ghana is the richest country on earth, his Party’s government will operate the National Health Insurance Scheme for free, so citizens access medical services easily and comfortably come December when the Party comes into power.

Speaking to THE SUN HOUNDS (TSH) at his Party office in Accra, the founder revealed that the cries of the Ghanaian down-trodden have caught the Lord God’s attention and he is therefore preparing to use the NVP to salvage the nation and ease the people’s plight considerably.

“Just examine what has been stashed beneath the land throughout all the country and there can be no shortage of precious natural resources, when countries that have advanced and now give us aid do not have a quarter of what we have,” a wife-eyed Prophet Nkansah told THE SUN.

He wondered just why Ghana sits on a fortune yet is unable to translate the immeasurable resources to benefit the majority of its people.

Prophet Nkansah who also heads the New Pentecost Vision Church says, the Party has been campaigning seriously and informed that its numbers are increasing by leaps and bounds and that throughout the 10 regions of the country, the numbers are multiplying everyday.

The founder further informed that the NVP will seize the delicate subject of agriculture and turn it around by changing the face of the institution from the traditional hoe and cutlass to a mechanized system.

To this end, the leader said the Party would move to initiate a law on ensuring that a large chunk of National Service personnel do their service in the agricultural industry.

Prophet Nkansah philosophized how important the security services are in the Party’s scheme of things and stated that, they will enjoy an appreciable level of salary commensurate with the risk they take.

He also assured the medical profession, teachers, and other professionals of decent accommodation and other comforts of life, in line with the Party’s belief in providing basics to make the people keep heart and soul together. On how funding for all the set initiatives is going to be undertaken, the leader pledged to tap into the nation’s massive array of natural resources even to the extent that, school children would be fed decent meals on school days in a manner never seen before.

Last week, the New Vision Party held its Eastern regional congress and has slated that of Central, Western and Ashanti to follow suit pretty soon in the coming weeks.

The NVP says it has set Tuesday July 15 to complete its regional congresses, after which the National Congress will take place in Accra at the end of next month.

As a booster to the Party’s operations, the national chairman of the Ghana National Party (GNP) has defected with some following and has pitched camp at the NVP, which is now chaired by Apostle Aaron King in an acting capacity. Throughout last week, the Accra Party office was boiling with Party men carrying out various schedules, as some others so eager to win over new members were busy being taken through how to rope in new souls.
