Accra, Feb. 20, GNA - The Alliance For Accountable Governance (AFAG), a pressure group that acts as a check on various governments, said on Friday the President's state of the nation's address was insightful, wide ranging, well thought and promising. A statement signed by Mr Arnold Boateng, Secretary of the group said: "we are particularly pleased by his excellence's promise to institute the MPs development fund, to attach national service personnel as research assistants to MPs and his pro-poor intervention programme for the Central and three Northern Regions."

AFAG however, cautioned President Mills to thread cautiously with maximum circumspection in handling the Dagbon chieftaincy crisis.
