*How Otumfuo, Mills And Aliu Mahama Had Been Victims Of His Unsavory Journalism *

Impeccable information reaching this paper indicates that the management of Multimedia Group Limited, owners of Joy FM, has taken steps to replace its errant Acting News Editor, Ato Kwamena Dadzie.

In less than a week, precisely the first week in August, a former deputy news editor, Elvis Quarshie, is expected to take over the newsroom as the news editor of Joy FM to inject some sense of professionalism in the gathering, processing and dissemination of information from the station, which hitherto was the toast of “discerning listeners”.

There is presently no information on what role Ato Kwamena Dadzie would be assigned to. Whether he would still maintain his newspaper review role which he has been using to make unsavory remarks and also tongue lash very prominent men in society, including Otumfuo Osei Tutu, the Asantehene, ex-Vice President Aliu Mahama, President John Mills, Black Star players among others, is also unclear.

Joy FM has had to apologize on his behalf on countless occasions. Indeed, Luv FM, a sister station, which is also owned by Multimedia Group Limited and based in Kumasi, was sometime last year, forced to block Ato Kwamina’s voice on the *Super Morning Show,** *hosted by Kojo *Oppong**-**Nkrumah **during the* newspaper review. The Kumasi based station was threatened with vandalism by teeming supporters of the Asantehene, over Ato’s blistering attack on their chief.

Mr. Elvis Quarshie, who was a deputy to Matilda Asante, who now works with Access Bank PLC as its Communications Director, is said to be working with a prominent Insurance Company after he left Joy FM some two years ago, but The Herald learnt that the management of Multimedia specifically went for him when it became clear to them that Ato Kwame Dadzie, was not capable of fitting the shoes Matilda left.

Media watchers are at a loss as to why the management of Multimedia Group Limited, headed by Mr. Kwasi Twum, is still keeping Ato Kwamena Dadzie at the station having in the past done a lot to protect its image.

For instance Stan Dogbe, a former employee and now a Presidential staffer, was virtually grounded and had to resign from Joy FM on the allegation that he had raped a first year student of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi.

Nii Ayi Tagoe, son of the former Vice Chancellor of the University of Ghana, was also taken off air for some time because he was alleged to have caused an abortion for a lady friend.

Mr. Mawuko Zormelo, who is now with the office of the Vice President, was also sacked for playing the famous ‘Rawlings tape’ which led to the storming of the station by security operatives. Days later, Mr. Zormelo was shown the exit.

Ato Kwamena Dadzie went to the extent of challenging the manhood of the Former Vice President Aliu Mahama, after he reprimanded an institution and those in charge for not living up to expectation.

Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu’s crime which drew Ato Kwamena Dadzie’s ire was that he had issued a stern warning to Teachimanhene following the confusion that rocked the Brong Ahafo area months ago.
