We act emotionally which is very dangerous. When Cecilia Dapaah's case became public, some people were calling for her instant execution while others were calling for deep and thorough investigation. Now, why hasn't been any wrong doing found against her? Remember that there is no law in Ghana against people keeping their money in their homes so, what has the lady done wrong?

I am not supporting her but she is innocent until proven guilty.

People have decided to keep their money in foreign currencies and keep them at home because of Jeremiah John Rawlings experience. During the AFRC time, people who had a certain amount of money in their bank accounts were taken to Gondar Barracks, shaved with broken bottles and beaten up in public by drugged soldiers. Some women were even stripped naked and whipped in their vaginas. From then, people learned to keep their money in foreign currencies and kept them at home. I don’t know how the lady got her money but I think she was learning from what Rawlings and Tsikatas did to Ghanaians and l don’t blame her.
