Nduom applied for GN Bank to be downgraded from Universal bank to a Sabings and Loans, and yet couldn't meet the capital requirement. GN sank all their customers funds into failing affiliated companies in quarry, sports, media, construction, hotel, buying failing banks and starting new banks outside Ghana. Nduom knows he's lying to get Mahama's sympathy, of course because he knows Mahama will play along for political capital. Nduom has run for presidential electrons in Ghana twice, first as CPP candidate and later as PPP candidate, and he never ever achieved 2% of total ballots cast in any of the elections. How can such a person say that the sitting president's party saw him as a political threat, and therefore collapsed his financial institutions? Mahama's administration supervised a near total collapse of our financial sector from 2013 to 2016, and of course he will sympathise with you for political expediency. He can't restore your bank to you, he's just deceiving you. You're a thief yourself.

But to give him the benefit of the doubt that he is truly a genuine banker put up the Deposit to meet the threshold to be allowed to operate a bank. This Deposit put together by all the Banks acts as an insurance schene for depositors money. Me and you our money so if our bank fails BoG can dip into that deposit to pay us our money.

Instead of you to go and find that Deposit like others such as Zenith, Access Ecobank has done and get your license back you are rather visiting bankrupt politicians for what. In the unlikely chance Mahama gets voted into power wgat do you expect him to do. Exempt you from the rules and allow you to operate freely without putting up your Banking Insurance Deposit?

What sort of controls did he introduce in his bank to expose his institution to over 70% of debt held by one source (government) to his bank.

The sensible thing to do was to diversify your risks over 4-5 sectors (government, retail, industry, consumers). He has no business running a bank but I believe he only set up the bank to con poor depositors of their money. He and NAM1 are two sides of the same coin. Scammer!!

Why are the Contractors in Nduom's case not going to court. Simply because a lot of these contracts were given through bribery to NDC Operators. Those Operators lost their jobs when NDC was kicked out of power in 2016. If they go to Court these Contractors would be exposed for their corrupt ways and the court would rule that these contracts are invalid because they did not go through procurement and other rules.

That is why they have not gone to court and are hiding behind Ndoum to play politics to get the money back.

Truth be told, if any government owed or failed to pay contractors of hwo are clients of Ndoum Companies, it must be the NDC..!! By the time of the clean-up it would be disingenuous to say an NPP government was the cause of a "debt" that was running the bank aground. Bank of Ghana was already on his heals before NPP regime. ALL SAID, we need credible local businesses, not scams run by crooked maneuvers.
