Dr. Stephen Amoah, Member of Parliament, Nyhiaeso Constituency
Dr. Stephen Amoah, Member of Parliament (MP), Nyhiaeso Constituency has issued a stern warning to his accusers stating that he cannot be intimidated.
Reacting to claims that he blocked executives who had come to his constituency to conduct a research into the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) loss in the 2024 elections on Okay FM's 'Ade Akye Yen Bia' morning show on March 5, 2025, monitored by GhanaWeb, Stephen Amoah flatly denied the allegation.
He indicated that though he is a respectful person, he is equally firm and will stand his grounds against any injustices.
"Nobody can intimidate me. Even though I'm a very respectful person. They cannot make mistakes and shift the blame on me," he said.
He reiterated that the executives never came to his constituency.
"We never prevented them at any point in the research from collecting data in the constituency. They never came there. I do not hide any thing from my executives. You can reach out to them for their version of this story," Stephen Amoah said.
"They are telling lies. They have erred, but are failing to admit their fault. I have been advised by some elders in the party to let the matter slide. So, I have forgiven them but, I leave them to God," he told Kwame Nkrumah Tikese.
"Yes, God is my only witness in this issue. The NPP is already struggling as a party. So, I will not stretch this matter further, but God knows just how much I invested in the campaign last year," he added.
He explained further that he sees Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, who supervised the research as a senior brother.
He, therefore, finds it bizarre why he did not put a call through to him to ascertain the facts for himself.
He stressed that the claims by the executives was a total fabrication and lies.
