This galamsey saga is ridiculous and annoying. We hear about it everyday and nothing seems to be going on with the prosecution of anyone. It is all talk and no action. I read about some foreigners especially Chinese being apprehended all the time. What has been done to them!! Nothing!! This infuriates me like crazy. I am a professional residing in the US and travel quite a lot to China. I do not see any Ghanaian in China doing anything illegal in China let alone galamsey. They will hang the person especially a foreigner with no hesitation. How can we sit there and allow these foreigners to come our beloved country and do all these illegal stuff especially illegal mining and even threaten Ghanaian citizens and nothing is done to them. This tells that Hhana is a shithole country like Trump said. The leaders from both parties are to blame, they’re all talk and no action and can’t do shit to address the situation. It a shame both on NPP and NDC governments. Get some spine and eradicate galamsey for once and stop fooling around with all the stupid information y’all spill out every now and then. Get the job done, period!! Useless politicians with no courage to address anything to protect Ghana forests and Water bodies!!!
