Ghana is not ready to even talk about renewable energy. We need to build our economy first. Even rich countries are hesitating spending these sums of money on renewable energy. Even if we pump all our incomes into that investment, it will take decades to come close to that figure. Is it realistic to talk about it now? Yes we can still do something about environmental damage and try to prevent it.
