  The Abokobi area is too serious. The land around the river near the Police Station used to a forest and a sacred place but the place has been violently cleared, sold and field leaving the water very narrow.

  The Abokobi area is too serious. The land around the river near the Police Station used to a forest and a sacred place but the place has been violently cleared, sold and field leaving the water very narrow.
  
  The Works Department of the local Assembly can't escape blame. The entire Assembly and the Traditional authorities can't say they are unaware.
  
  We plead with the government through the New MCE Hon. Agbo to restore the place to its normal previous state.
  
  All the new structures that sprung up with the speed of light should be removed and the place cordoned off as a security Zone.
  
  If this is not done any time soon the flooding in Abokobi area will be extremely difficult to contain because that river is very violent.

  Most of these land guards are northerners, showing the macho. Don't they have any jobs to do ? IGP and the military must arrest, prosecute and jail them under the Land Act 1036.
