No, they are bank documents showing that he owns the properties but he used loans to acquire them, in which case the banks can repossess them at any time, which also means he technically doesn’t own them, that is why the court couldn’t accept them. So there is no magic here; he isn’t as rich as he claims to be.

Most people may not be aware of issues of bail. Even though a person may meet the bail requirements sometimes the court will agree with the prosecution if the accused has the potential to interfere with police investigation. If the prosecution believes that the accuse may corrupt potential witnesses a judge may not grant the bail. For example, in Wontumi’s case, it is likely that one of his bail conditions is for him never try to contact a police officer, potential witnesses and anybody from the AG department personally or pseudonymous
