Very Very smart move by Ato Forson. Some of the windfall revenue being made by commercial drivers and who do not want to pass some of this windfall to passengers through reduced fares will be collected by the state through this levy. Part of it can be used to reduce the energy sector debt especially payments to Independent power producers. The IMF would be very impressed. Private drivers will just have to see it as a small sacrifice which will not cause any problems because fuel prices are coming down anyway. Very smart move. No wonder the minority is so mesmerised!!!!!
