1.The fuel price is about ghc12 or less.
2. By June 15, fuel price is expected to be around ghc11.
3. However, government will continue to keep the price at ghc12 and use the use the difference as the tax to pay off to debt.
4. In effect, there will be no increase in the price.
5. If the price gets to ghc10, government will sell at ghc11 and still get back the ghc1 tax.

The mess in the energy sector was first caused by him and his Ndc government during their tenure in 2013 which resulted in the pay or take agreement which has become an albatross on our necks and so will be very disingenuous for him to blame the previous government. No government enjoys imposing tax burden on it citizens but when politician make a meal out of it, then it exposes their wickedness. There is no justification for this shameful act and if the reason is to raise revenue for the government then why did they cancel the e-levy.
