You will never admit your contribution to our current state of affairs. You corrupted all our systems and chopped all our money so you never had money for development. Mahama’s government is just starting to save some money for development but you expect it to clean up the mess you caused. What an irresponsible party. Issues of nurses will not end today or tomorrow... It will be addressed not not today.. People are dying.. Of what use would it be killing people with strike and get better service after? License renewals etc. Most of these issue's are created through successive governments failure to have the profession cladded with ethics and regulations. Then now they, through their NPP led GRNMA instigated this "death strike" using the poor nurses to express another of their pledges of making Ghana ungovernable.

What a bunch of nonsense, Dr. Afriye. The contract agreement between the Akufo-Addo/Dr. Bawumia NPP majority government and GRNMA stipulated July 1, 2024 as the implementation date. You and others can throw out a million excuses that could have taken place between July 2024 and December 2024 all day and all night but there's one thing your excuses will not cover.

President Akufo-Addo could have used his executive authority to sign the contract between government and GRNMA on his last day in office the same way presidents do offer pardons or set things "right" before leaving office.

It is unfortunate that people are dying because of their strike. The government should do the needful by pleading with them to come to the negotiation table again. The health minister is even aggravating the problem with his utterances. I am surprise that people are insulting the nurses.

In all the accusations going on, no one has mentioned when the agreement reached between the parties were to be implemented.
The fact is that its not only in the civil and public sector that allowances are consolidated, but as well in the private sector, since the ministry of finance has directed so long ago.
Thanks that now the GRNMA strike is over and we all hope that is will not occur again.
