It is the Supreme Court that is vested with power to interpret the constitution. So if the Supreme Court rules that Mahama can run again. That becomes the law. Prempeh’s position is legally flawed. Period

Tell us if two presidential terms that run in concurrent succession is the same as term limits with intermittent periods. He should spare us with his bold commanding statement as though he is the final authority in terms of the law. What will he do if the Supreme Court rule that Mahama can stand for another election because there was a gap in his tenure? You remember the Supreme court saying that a Ghanaian birth certificate cannot for identification as Ghanaian!! The way they manipulated the SC judges tells me what Mr. Blay said can happen under another NPP government. The earlier we avoided an NPP government the better.

By the way,. Mr. Blay thinking that Prez Mahama can go for a third term is a tacit admission that Mahama is performing excellently.

Even Rawlings didn't dream about a 3rd term, why would any president after him be thinking of a 3rd term in the light of our constitution? Blay's dishonesty is clearly seen in that, there's no evidence to suggest that Mahama is looking for a 3rd term.
Blay is someone who has built his politics around dishonesty. This is why he, a CPP man, well fitted himself into Akufo Addo's scheming to take away the NPP from its authentic and original owners, and became its chairman.
