  Justice Dennis Agyei, it’s good to value life. But if an armed robber robs someone and goes ahead to take the life of the victim after the robbery because the victim happens to know the robber, does the law have to protect the robber due to his human rights ? Please don’t go to the Supreme Court with this mindset else an aggrieved family member will either kill you or any of your immediate family members. I’m a Christian and also value human rights but some criminals need to suffer death as a rightful penalty for the heinous crimes they commit. Ghana first before African court regulations. If you can’t prescribe death sentence to one who merits it because of his human rights, then pls don’t get to the Supreme Court. You just do it and leave it for the President to sanction it. Don’t be the one to incur the wrath of an aggrieved family member. And this goes especially to high court justices who are often the ones to adjudicate on murder cases.
  Of course not all miser cases that end with guilty sentences definitely have to attract the death penalty but the one enumerated above should surely do, and also one where an armed robber killed his victim and went ahead to also rape his wife. You will be a viscous judge if you spare such a criminal from death penalty because of your avid subscription to the values of human rights when a precious life has been lost.

Frankly, politicians found to have stolen our monies should shot dead .
