It is a huge disgrace that the NDC has chosen to honour Rawlings. Rawlings is the most brutal and barbaric person to be the president of Ghana. Under his AFRC junta so many Ghanaians were killed and disappeared. Ghanaians were subjected to the most brutal abuse of human rights by Rawlings AFRC regime.Judges were even killed. He should have. been charged with treason,prosecuted and sentenced to death for illegally overthrowing the democratically elected government of Dr Hilla Limann. The irony is he never founded the NDC.He was used to catapult the NDC to power.He preached accountability but sold state assets to his wife for a pittance.

We can only thank God for giving us the ability to forget. What we saw in 1979 and 1981, I don't wish anything of that sort to happen to Ghana again. Was JJ not called a BARKING DOG when he was alive?
Sometimes, people hypocritically honour the dead not because of the love they have for the person but the fact that you are no more there - celebrating his nonexistent!
