The technologies are out there in thousands around the world that we could potentially tap to Ghana and dupe the state regardless of whether the services are of benefit to the state or not. Some Ghanaians are very evil to the extend that their parochial interest is what matters to them and nothing else. Which country in Africa if not Ghana will allow some scrupulous people to install meters in an industry that has no bearing on their operational efficiency, yet being paid huge sums of money. Ghana is a crime scene indeed.

Now that he's the Special Prosecutor, he might feel a duty to "clean up" CEPS or the GRA. But truth be told, that institution is so deeply entrenched, it’s not something that can be easily “cleared.”

I will suggest we need to research into the psychology and sociology of corruption in Ghana. Having understood these then the right prescription can be administered.
I have a suggestion, examine the retirement benefits of these people and if the retirement benefits outweigh the temptation then one will be cautious.

Corruption is a DAMN SERIOUS PROBLEM.

Look at what is happenni g at our famous Tetteh Quarshie Circle where a new lorry station has sprung up since the beginning of 2025 at the South Eastern Quadrant opposite the Accra Mall. It is an eye sore. Whatever amount of fees collected by LEKMA is a none starter. Whoever municipal officer who gave approval for coverting the green grass into a lorry station with the concommittant debris, plastic waste degrading the grass into a dusty ground should be arrested. Unfortunately every one is looking on.
