  The Christian village bridge expansion is way overdue. The contractor did a terrible job by using iron rods instead of steel beams. This is a bridge that is used by VIP buses, articulated lorries and water trucks. when Achimota to Kumasi road is choked most of the buses uses that weak as diversion. It has now become a death trap. I believe the next heavy downpour will wash the bridge away. This is a matter of urgency.

  Does it has to be the government who at all times provide our urgent needs. Sometimes we the residents can also help ourselves by contributing to solve our problems. I remember not long ago there was this initiative where the community buys the electric poles and government provide the cables connect power for them. What is stopping us to start something and call for help.
