John Mahama cannot stand for another term after 2027, just mark it somewhere. Do you understand the "People's Power", no gun can withstand it. Even the military are humans like us because I once defined the military as "a civilian who have had a military training", right or wrong?

If he wants absolute power, he should have enlisted into the Army and staged a coup then with a decree, he can sit on our necks without any complain. By the way, where is JJ, the man who said that there is nobody in Ghana he can hand power to.

John Mahama is afraid of his own shadow. Let him manipulate the courts to any extent but one day, will leave like tsetsefly.

If this bill is passed, any punishment to it should be retrospective because of Sam George. All the lies he spewed then should come into play for him to be punished including Sammy Gyamfi.

I’m disappointed in the NDC for championing this stupid bill that when it becomes law will be used to curtail free speech.
So strange to come to realize only Jerry Rawlings though labeled a dictator allowed free speech in the fourth republic without trying to stop people from spreading any falsehood about him. If you go back in time and read the headlines in the Ghanaian Chronicle and Free Press about President Rawlings in those days and yet he didn’t flinch you will call him a saint and a true champion of free speech. Akuffo Addo sabotaged free speech even though he claimed to have gotten criminal libel laws repealed. He got people arrested for talking about his wife and now Sam George wants to follow in the footsteps of Nana Akuffo Addo instead of looking at the examples of JJ.
Shame on you Sam George for this particular bill.
