  The United States government know exactly what they are doing to Ghana but the government of Ghana don’t seem to have a clue . They issued visa restrictions against Ghana for Ghana to respond in a reciprocal manner. They have realized that Ghana is becoming a tourist destination for a lot of Americans so they want to stop that . The moment Ghana or the ministry of foreign affairs reciprocate the same visa restrictions against the US the will mess everything up. The economy of Ghana will get hurt the most and over $3 billion tourism revenue will not be realized by Ghana . Ghana has to thread cautiously because you have a lot to lose when it comes to dealing with the US. Don’t respond to the Visa restrictions negatively, make an appeal , and engage them diplomatically because the US needs Ghana badly for its strategic relationship in Africa.
