If we cannot govern ourselves well, that has nothing to do with slavery rather it depends on how we "Use our brains" because no one can tell me that the leader who was giving free education was evil than the one giving free sanitary pads.

Also, did our colonialists tell us to engage in illegal mining? All the forests reserve they left are being decimated by party hooligans with Mahama's blessing so, what is Mahama up to?

Reparations paid to who? African leaders are so corrupt that any money paid will only end up in their bank accounts and the suffering masses will not benefit from such payments. Maybe they should ask for the benefits to be paid in kind like building infrastructure that most countries in Africa lack for free like roads, power generation, hospitals, schools etc directly with no cash given to those greedy leaders.
