  The coins are value less due to depreciation so strengthen the purchasing power of the cedi where by one can use 10p or 20p to buy something then Ghanaians will use it

  Let’s encourage sellers to tag prices of goods with Pesewas attached instead of fixed whole number prices. For example, instead of GHC 50 an item can be sold at GHC49.55. This will also encourage buyers to use the coins at ...

  I think is about time the Bank of Ghana introduces Electronic payment system where citizens pay for their goods and services using MOMO or other payment to salvage the coins

  Smaller coins have lost their value.
  2 Cedi coin is bulky.
  
  Whole series needs redesign. 50 pesewa is ok. 1 and 2 Cedi should be smaller. 5 and 10 Cedi to be introduced. No need to make bimetallic. Good stainless steel coi ...
