So we need nanny state to set the prices for us because most people are greedy, cheating thieves despite going to church or the mosque. Then we all sit around blaming the government without looking in the mirror.
This is very brilliant idea and must be considered asap. I wonder if the writer can petition parliament directly. This will be a game changer in protecting consumers because some Ghanaian businesses are really evil.

In the 1970s there was a Prices and Incomes Board. It was dissolved and replaced with a Fair Wages and Salaries Board. The Prices aspect was conspicuously eliminated.

Most Ghanaians are always in churches and mosques praying 24/7 ,but their hearts are stone-cold like NADAA aka 'Fellow Ghanaians'.
What the government can do is the 'Goil' example. Set up governmental/State trade companies and use that to regulate the prices. The only problem with this is that most state enterprises are not run well.

You are right, but we the citizens who want to acquire wealth overnight through high pricing of goods will wake up against any government that will try to implement such anitiative.
