When this fraud was detected, they turned back to threaten this victims of their fraudulent behaviour that they MTN/MML have money to buy out the victims lawyers, influence the judicial service, frustrate the victims and make them suffer dearly if the victims of the fraud decides to go to court with them. From the way things are going, we will need a separate new parallel govt to deal with the resetting of all the maladministration and criminality that has created huge distortions in the body politic of Ghana. The level of thievery is so vast that it seems that the entire country has become a crime scene which the current institutions of law and order will not possibly be able to deal with. I fear that despite the well-meaning efforts of the Mahama govt, our country will not be able to overcome and recover from the diabolical mess it has inherited. What may follow is that the thieves and their sympathizers will not only use the huge amounts of monies stolen from the state to undermine the govt but it will also simultaneously point to the new govt as being incapable of impacting much-needed development in critical sectors of the economy.
