3 dead in tragic road accident on Bekwai-New Edubiase Road

Three people were killed and several others injured in a fatal road accident involving a minibus and two other vehicles on the Bekwai-New Edubiase Road on Wednesday August 13 2025 night.

Adom TV’s Isaac Normanyo reported that the crash occurred at Kyiraburoso, near Adansi Asokwa, after an O.A. mini bus carrying 14 passengers ran into a faulty Kia truck that was reportedly being towed by a tanker.

According to Fomena District Police Commander DSP Samson Wunyi Mumuni, police received information about the incident late in the night and immediately dispatched a team to the scene.

The collision resulted in the deaths of three occupants of the mini bus, with several other passengers sustaining various degrees of injury. The police commander confirmed that investigations into the exact cause of the accident are underway.
