But for the fact that the NDC undermined the authority of President Akufo Addo by campaigning in galamsey areas that if they vote for President Mahama he would grant all jailed galamseyers amnesty and also allow them to continue, President Akufo Addo would have somehow succeeded in fighting the galamsey menace.
