  Thank God for Bawumiah's ingenuity in showing the way to use local gold to shore up reserves. This policy, which has been adopted by the new government seems to be helping the country manage its currency. The Government should be magnanimous enough to give credit where it is due. The Gold for Reserves idea is a brainchild of the former vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumiah. Thank you Prof. for doing the Thinking for Ghana. Even though your government did not live to see the fruits of this initiative, right thinking Ghanaians will not forget the fundamental Game Changer you introduced. Thank You !!!
