Now, 2 examples: 1.Sammy Adjei led BS in the post to qualify BS 2006 World Cup. However, Richard Kingston took over the post during the 2006 World Cup. 2.Laryea Kingston and Eric Ado qualified BS for 2010 World Cup but both dropped during final squad for South Africa.
It’s so embarrassing that Kelvin Taylor has become the special advisor to this administration.

Hudson had given his words to prez Akuffo Addo. Then something happened in the camp that brought sharp differences between the senior players and certain members of the GFA. Angola v Ghana. Even though we took the lead from Jordan’s free kick, we played so badly as if there was nothing at stake. Rumours of division was in the camp. At the same time Partey, Semenyo and some defenders decided not to honour the Sudan game. Okraku had publicly chided the players after the Niger game was disrespectful. Ghana did not qualify for Afcon. Chris Houghton is sacked.

Otto Addo comes back. No attempt was made to invite Hudson or Nketiah. Ghana’s lucky win against Mali in Bamako revived the team and Otto Addo did not see the need to call Hudson or Nketiah. Hudson and Nketiah are not mercenaries. In my view, the GFA gaffer suffers from foot and mouth disease. To use the word mercenaries is most unfortunate. No player can invite themselves to the Black Star. If Hudson and Nketiah and others say that if they are called they will come for the World Cup, what is wrong with their intention? They are not mercenaries. They are Ghanaians and twice better than many of the players in the Black Stars. Yes, we have qualified for the WC. Let’s be honest, how far can we go with these minnows? Okraku, please watch your mouth.

He didn't say good players are not needed. Otto Addo can go ahead and do his selection as coach. Any uncommitment or player who refused until qualification shouldn't join the team to America, that's the point. Okay, you are able to play football in team X, fine, that doesn't even guarantee you will play well in the black stars, so why favour a player you know is not committed?
