  It is both economically and strategically sound to repurpose heavy equipment seized from illegal mining operations for national development purposes. The continued practice of setting equipment ablaze represents a significant loss of valuable national resources that could otherwise be redirected toward productive infrastructure projects.
  
  Instead of rendering such assets useless, the Government of Ghana should establish a formal framework for the recovery, rehabilitation, and redeployment of these machines to support nationwide road construction, rural development, and public works initiatives.
  
  Ghana possesses the internal capacity to execute these projects without excessive dependence on foreign contractors. The Field Engineers of the Ghana Armed Forces, equipped with proven technical expertise and logistical capability, can effectively utilize these resources to construct and maintain durable roads, bridges, and essential infrastructure.
  
  A structured national policy to convert seized equipment into development assets would not only reduce public expenditure but also reinforce the principle of sustainable resource utilization, promote local capacity building, and symbolize a decisive shift from punitive destruction to constructive national advancement.

  I have always said this on any post that showed the destruction of these equipments. Making it clear that the President promised buying farming equipments for use. So in that case why not the pump and construction equipments seized which can be used to set up a farming equipments pool to aid us in farming.
