Wrong comparison in my opinion, Nigeria had to resort to bribing Benin to win that game. Look at how the game progressed. Nigeria needed to win with at least 3 goals to qualify if South Africa had lost its game. Benin allowed in the 3 goals alright. Now when the news came through that South Africa was winning big, the next option was for Nigeria to win by 4 goals to kick out Burkina Faso to make the playoffs. All of a sudden, Benin had no choice but to allow in the 4th goal. Keep in mind that Benin beat Nigeria by 2 goals to 1 when they met earlier in this same qualifiers. Ask yourself why Benin this time did not close mark Osimhen(he scored 3 goals in this bribed game). I expect insults from bringing out this truth about Nigeria, but the truth will surely come out one day, trust me! As for Benin, they couldn't have beaten the current black Stars, leave that for South American and European teams if we fail to beef up our squad for the world cup.
