  As sugested by one pastor, our new born babies are disabled because chemical pollution, our armoured cars are sitting at barracks collecting dust.Please mobilize these to all galamsey sites in the country for 6 months and undertake legislative reforms to streamline and regulate this seemingly uncontrollable damage to our environment, water bodies, forests, and the very sources of our livelihood!!!!

  It is a mystery that with all the powers entrusted in teh president and parliament, galamsey is still thriving and does not show any ending in sight. Heavy machinery are imported into the country and transported into our forests, purposely to destroy the forests and our water bodies with impunity as if there are no laws in the country. As long as politicians and traditional rulers are privy to this destruction, galamsey will continue to thrive, and there is nothing any one can do. Until we get a leader who is committed to the welfare of the country, galamsey will never end. Mahama is not committed to this cause, just plating the quintessential political games.
