In anycase, in as much as I respect Haruna's view, Ablakwa didn't say anything wrong on this occasion. Indeed, the length of students hair has no correlation with character or intelligence. On the case of religion, no institution funded by the state has the right to suppress one religion in favor of another. Any school seeking to enforce a particular religion should be strictly private (and paying tax to the state) and should make it clear that they only admit people of that religion. Their religious discrimination should be made clear in their mission statement so that the public don't become victims of it. I don't think every girl child would have to attend Wesley Girls to succeed in life. Even if that was the case, it wouldn't be able to admit every girl child anyways. And grade A school doesn't automatically make you educated. So, government should let them be fully private if they wish to. But, they cannot be state sponsored and engage in religious intolerance. This debate must end once and for all.

Everyone knows that the Volta block alone cannot win power for the NDC. The good pair will be to partner someone with John Jinapor to continue to dominate the NPP. The NDC will not jeopardize their chances of winning the next election by choosing the vice presidential candidate outside the northern zone. The NDC and JM will attempt a JM third term, so I see all these things as distractions from exactly where the real matter is brewing.

JM, Ablakwa, Haruna, Debrah, Ato Forson, name them have all have their chances and they are not the only folks in the NDC.

Give chance to Asiedu Nketia, Asiama of BoG, and many others.
