Carpenters Association Present Wooden Flower Protectors To Asantehene

Kumasi,(Ashanti Region) 23, Sept. The Reverend Samuel Kwabena Fugah, National President of the Small-Scale Carpenters Association (SSCA), has donated 20 wooden flower protectors to the Asantehene, Otumfuo Opoku Ware the Second to promote flower cultivation at the Manhyia Palace. Rev Fugah, also the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the Voltarians Coordinating Council(VCC), said the donation was his modest contribution towards the beautification and promotion of a serene environment at the palace. Nana Kwadwo Nyantakyi, Otumfuo's Sanaahene (Treasurer), thanked Rev Fugah for the gifts and hoped they would promote environmental consciousness in the area.
