The Ghanaian man, Ebo Noah, who has gone viral after claiming he received a vision to build arks ahead of an impending flood, has come under criticism after residents of Elmina challenged the authenticity of his claims.

Videos making rounds on social media, a resident of Elmina, where the structure in question is located, has insisted that Ebo Noah is not the owner of the structure.

According to him, Ebo Noah is only a content creator who moved into the area about three months ago.

He explained that the trending structure is not an ark but a fishing boat that was built by members of the community for fishing activities.

Who is Ebo Noah and why is he building an ark like the biblical Noah?

“I’ve received many calls from people all over the world. What he’s saying is not true. He’s a content creator, that’s how we know him,” the resident said.

In a separate video, another individual visited the site to inspect the structure personally. After climbing the unfinished wooden frame, he noted that only the base and inner floor had been laid.

The incomplete state of the structure raised concerns about its safety and usefulness, even if it were truly intended to shelter people from the flood Ebo Noah claims will hit Ghana.

“This is the structure Ebo Noah climbed and called an ark. It’s not an ark, it’s a fishing boat. How can anyone survive in this if it rains?” he asked.

Ebo Noah continues to speak publicly about plans to build ten arks as preparation for the prophesied flood. However, residents maintain that the structure being referenced is a fishing boat, not an ark.

Ebo Noah has also stated that the vessels will eventually be moved to a single, undisclosed location, where they will remain until he receives further instructions from God.
