And in a society where women may not accuse husbands of denial of sex, is this not a platform for men to begin to accuse their wives? What kind of mindset does the ACP have? If it is a matter of verbal or physical abuse, fine, the police can come in if necessary, but as for whether a spouse has sex with his or her partner or chooses to eat the partner's food or not,.....that is absolutely no business of the police. There is any law in ghana that forces a spouse to have sex with the partner or eat his/her food, failure to which he/she is subject to arrest and/or imprisonment. It is rather a criminal offence for anyone to force you to have sex with anyone, including your spouse, without your consent. If you are not getting sex from your spouse, or he/she will not eat your food, you are free to separate or divorce.

They don't need to report it to any police. It is their private affair, and separation does not necessarily mean one person moving out. They can stay in the same household and yet abstain from any romance. This is a human right that even the Bible accepts. If from there, they want to divorce, that is up to them.
