They have formed their own consortium mining their own minerals unlike some African countries looking for percentages on their minerals. And even those monies end up in people's pockets. When are we going to make our own solar panels, cars, planes, electronic goods?? We can't keep giving that same old excuse about government hasn't done this or that. In a the advanced western countries their development was by private entities. IBM, Microsoft, GM, Ford, Rolls Royce, BMW to name a few were all private businesses that grew into the behemoths that they are now.
