Another thing I know is the Public Accounts Committee. There's nothing like your NDC bugabuga ORAL, which has no basis in our laws, or whatsoever you call it. My question which I need answered is whether you have evidence that Ofori Atta whom I don'tanywherewhere has caused financial loss to the state isn't it the court that you have to go & prosecute him & I learned at a point that he availed himself through Zoom to be interrogated which the OSP declined that he wanted him personally. There were precedents where Sedinam Tamaklo was tried in absentia, which is enshrined in our laws, so what's preventing the state from following suit?. All that you guys are doing is euphoria from the power you grabbed but you will be meeted with the same measure when power changes that's when you will come to your Sense. No body is denying accountability but do it as the law requires.

The standard which should be required of such office should even be higher than a mere responsibility to account. The appropriate standard is the Caesar’s wife’s standard. A minister of finance should be beyond reproach. He should conduct himself in such a way that we will not even begin to wonder whether or not he is capable of malfeasance!
$1m for value for money audits before approving projects falls short of that standard.
Surreptitiously taking the $6m contract to build the Tema office of the Ghana Maritime Authority falls short of that standard. It’s even worse that he failed to execute it.

Imagine someone like that being appointed to a position where he has access to our money. That would spell unmitigated disaster! NPP should ensure that he does not succeed in the next primaries!

Subsidise petrol to make it cost less, this will drive down prices and encourage alot and alot job creation for you to make your money back through taxation.
It also strengthens the cedi against the dollar, inflation...so you don't need to artificially pump billions of dollars to create artificial strong cedi. Instead use it to subsidise petrol. Cedi will stabilise naturally.
They focused on dollar and not petrol and wonder why economy never worked.
