This is what normally happens when one decides not to be satisfied with God's given talents. Human beings always wants some more bigger,higher and elegant. Heaven was opened for you at Leverkusen where you had your success going your way and you should have stayed for a while. Besides, Leverkusen sold all the key players. There are no parties at fault here: the egos at real were probably too big for him but he would no doubt have improved given ample time.

This decision is a hasty and a harsh one. Real Madrid struggled last season partly due to injuries and it’s not different this time also especially with their defence which is hard hit. I believe they should have allowed Alonso to continued with the team building which I believed will have have yielded more fruits next season.I bet anyone that any coach they will be appointed to replace Alonso will still struggle since the team is not still balanced. The Barcelona you see today has also gone through setbacks and challenges after the exploits of Pep and Luis Enrique but they kept on rebuilding. When Real Madrid was thrashing Xavi Hernandez as a coach of Bacelona did they remember that one day it will come to the turn of Barcelona to revenge. They have not seen anything yet.
