For your information John Airbus Mahama issue was announced by his own boss the president of Ghana John Attah Mills after setting a committee to investigate him concerning the purchase of aircrafts. Also John Airbus Mahama name was in all the international newspapers in the Airbus scandal.

When Prof. Mills sent him to purchase a plane from Brazil, he pocketted some millions from the it and the president formed a committee led by Amidu to investigate him. The committee ''died''natural death after the death of the president. Again, he and his brother, Samuel Mahama conspired to collect bribe from Airbus for the sale of a plane to the GAF. Now, he is going to buy some aircrafts, God have mercy on us.

Remember John Mahama's Airbus scandal? The state of Ghana bought three planes from Airbus without tender or competition in 2011-2015. Airbus' agent in Ghana, president Mahamas brother, Samuel, received $3,9 millions in "commission", through a - at the time - secret intermediary.

Given this history, the state of Ghana should not purchase aircrafts without tender. John Mahama in particular, should stay far away from plane purchases.

Furthermore, it is not clear what the helicopters will be used for. Are they bought for the army? The police? I suspect they will be used to ferry around government dignitaries, among them John Mahama himself.
