  The incompetence and mismanagement of the NPP was very clear. If the payment was made in September by the bank but the then Ministry of Finance under Ofori-Atta did not release the money until late December, how then did they expect the farmers to get the seeds for the new crop season prior to September?
  In the banks books, the settlement was made in September but this should have been done before September so that the money could be released for the purchase of seeds for the new season by September. Why was the money released in December and not September?
  The gentleman could not tell us why the NPP government couldn't meet the expected demand for cocoa beans for that season.
  So far, Randy and his team have done excellently in closing the demand gap and gradually turning around the fortunes of Cocobod. The waste has been reduced, efficiency and good management practices are in force. All we need to do is support them to do well and to hold them to good accountability.
  We have not forgotten how the NPP bled Mother Ghana dry.

I blame this gov't for always lamenting over debts inherited from previous gov't. Why is it that they don't talk about where they inherited assets but always making it in public that they met huge debt(s)? In 2017, ndc gov't left debts but the npp gov't didn't complain they way it's happening now. Every serious opposition knows everything going on in gov't otherwise how will the opposition criticize the ills in the gov't? The gov't must fix the problem and stop trying to win sympathy from the public.
