The Minister of Education, Haruna Iddrisu, has been discharged from the hospital following a road traffic accident in Bolgatanga.

A statement issued by the Ministry of Education on Saturday, February 14, 2026, confirmed that the minister has been released from the 37 Military Hospital, where he had been receiving medical care.

“The Office of the Honourable Minister of Education announces that Hon. Haruna Iddrisu has been discharged from the 37 Military Hospital following a road traffic accident,” the statement read.

According to the Ministry, he is in good spirits and has been advised to take time off to rest.

“He is in good spirits and has been advised to rest as part of his recovery,” the statement added.
