Nice outlook on the all situation. However, importers not favoring the sentiments of the current government can also create artificial shortages to cause price hikes. This has been a foolproof strategy by saboteurs to make governments or rulers unpopular to cause either a coup d'etat or being voted against.

Nonetheless, tax evasion is not something to take lightly to as it has been one of the means a country is unable to generate meaningful revenue and resorts to unnecessary borrowing. So, this company should be used as a scapegoat.

Common sense clearly dictates that one doesn't grant preferential or light treatment to crooked businesses that seek to evade paying taxes for the goods they're transporting through Ghana. Ghana will not be the loser should that crooked company collapse; any collapse will be a result of the company's own doing by engaging in corrupt activities to illegally make huge profits at the expense of Ghana. That company and its officials deserve the stiffest punishment possible.

Allow the new govt to Reset the system because this widespread corruption is the reason why Ghana is ruins. How does shipment go from Togo through Ghana to Niger. Geography doesn't support that route. The report clearly shows that, the importer has no respect for Ghana and it's system of corruption.
