Substance use disorders are driven by intertwined neurological, psychological, and socioeconomic factors, requiring coordinated clinical care, counselling, rehabilitation, and social reintegration. While the IGP’s raids may demonstrate enforcement capacity, they are largely reactive and lack systematic involvement of health professionals and clear referral pathways into treatment and recovery services.
As a result, such operations fail to address the root causes of substance use, do not ensure continuity of care after arrest, and risk perpetuating cycles of criminalisation and relapse instead of achieving sustainable recovery and public safety outcomes.

IGP doesn't only arrest addicts, he arrests sellers/suppliers who mostly aren't addicts. Build a million rehab centers but without stopping the sale of the drugs, more and more youth will be hooked. Igp is doing his bit excellently, ask others to do their part too.
